LESSONS FROM A CUP FOR PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS
-
BY DR. SANJEEV KUMAR THALARI
Professor Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Thalari
once told his students, "Everything around us is a role model when we have
the ability to see and inspire from it." After being surprised for a
while, all of the students began to consider how things without a real life
inspire us. His tea cup infort, the
professor started helping the students understand this phenomenon.
Started with asking this question
to all the students, “What are the important
characteristics you expect from a cup to select”?
All of the students eagerly began sharing their top priorities when it came to buying a cup. As a result, all of the priorities were combined into the top 12, which are as follows:
- Cup must be empty
- Clean and well finished
- Well-polished
- Well Designed
- Strong handle & Comfortable to hold
- Resistible to any temperature
- Colorful and Attractive
- Affordable
- Non hazardous
- Long shelf life
- Material of the cup matters
- Depth of the cup
The professor kept up the trend by asking the students to "Replace the cup with You," which led to the key takeaways about the lessons that can be learned from cups. This is the justification.
1. Cup must be empty:
- An empty cup suggests that the student needs to be able to quickly unlearn what is not needed and be prepared to learn whatever needs. So that you can receive the necessary training from the business to properly, carry out the assigned function.
- A Clean and well-finished cup suggests that the student needs to be complete and attractive in all aspects, including conduct, attire, and mindset toward challenges.
- It speaks to a person's very high caliber and standard of skill as well as their confidence and competence as a student.
- In order to succeed in a given industry, a student needs to be strategically prepared and have a specific set of abilities, traits, and qualities and should be well groomed, polite, and tactically prepared.
- This quality of a cup suggests that the students should possess and offer a positive and supportive attitude to their employers.
- This cup's attributes reveal a student's ability to tolerate a range of difficulties. Without any explanation, all professional students must be able to satisfy the deadlines and manage stress.
- This quality of cup indicates that every professional student should be having a diverse range of skills, experiences, and knowledge. A professional student should not be limited to a single dimension but should be well rounded and versatile. In addition, a professional student should possess qualities that draw attention, whether in terms of academic achievements, interpersonal skills, or a positive attitude.
- This particular quality of a cup indicates that a student preparing for a professional career should possess qualities, skills, or qualifications that make them valuable and cost-effective for employers in the respective industry.
- This quality of a cup shows that the student should be conscious of and adhere to safety regulations and practices relevant to the industry, avoid engaging in activities or behaviors that could harm the industry's reputation, integrity, or ethical standards and should be aware of and comply with all relevant guidelines to ensure their actions do not create risks or hazards for the industry.
- That the student should have qualities and attributes that contribute to a sustained and successful career in their chosen field, followed by the ability of continuous learning and interpersonal skills.
- This particular characteristic of a cup explains about how a student should be in today’s competitive world. Every professional student should possess strong cognitive abilities along with impressing personal characteristics and attributes.
- This important characteristic of cup explains that a professional student should develop a deep and comprehensive approach to their training and career planning. This involves acquiring in-depth information, building a broad range of skills, encouraging critical thinking, welcoming lifelong learning, and upholding a solid ethical base.
