My Super Hero

My gurus taught me how to be significant in life, just as my parents taught me how to live in the world. 2005 was a significant year for choosing a career after earning an MBA. I received a call from Prof. Hanumantha Rao, the same mentor who motivated me during my MBA program, the same day I was chosen for a significant position with a reputable cellular firm. I immediately accepted the offer from the Allagadda Institute of Management Science in Allagadda, Andhra Pradesh after he helped me realize how important teachers are to society. The same young professor that the Great Teacher had planted has since broadened his sights to include everything from teaching to corporate training.

Why he serves as an example for me:

I still recall our first meeting in 2003, when I was only focused on winning the title and not too particular about the course. What are your dreams, Prof. Hanumantha Rao enquired? "Just to get a job," was my response. I noticed the professor's professorial smile. After the day had passed, Prof. Hanumantha Rao called his campus room. Despite having many reservations, the person entered and was greeted by the Professor with a smile. My life was changed in the following two hours. What is Life, among the numerous topics he discussed, was? What distinguishes existing in life from actually living it? making life meaningful, etc. The two hours motivated me.

Why he is my perfect teacher:

Surprised to see his hard work towards quality of teaching in the classroom, the inclinations towards the student’s level of expectations, Passion towards teaching, above all his great command on facts and figures. The way he deals with case study methodology is my all-time favorite in his teachings. One simple case study went on 5 days to conclude, what a fantastic learning time we had. He showed us the path, how to be a great teacher and how to make students admire you.
