Skill less Chickens
Skill less Chickens
Yes…You rightly heard, ‘skill less chickens’ the most terrible problem facing by Indian employment industry today. India is now dreaming about ‘Make in India’ tag but ‘Skills in India’ is a night mare. Just spending Crores of rupees on skill development initiative may create very good reports by committees, very good documentary by media, very good speeches by politicians but never skilled India. It is not the policy makers and policies raised this problem but the front line institutions which are customized these policies for profit making at the cost of future India.
A great shift identified in the policy makers thinking while creating policies in education sector. Major shift is policies are gradually moving away from learning centric to student centric for the sake of political mileage, because of these wicked policies the core elements of education system The Teacher, Black board & chalk piece and classroom is losing its identity. Other side technical education is handling by non technical or semi skilled masters creating & promoting half baked technicians to the industry.
Indian education system before 90’s was absolutely a service oriented surrounded by right values and ethics, before the technological era Indian education produced legendary personalities. Now in 2020 we can’t see that classic education system in India with such values and responsibilities, no such concepts exist, no such principled association can be found among student, teacher and society. Words like Values, responsibilities sound acidic. Earlier education system was revolved around mind and its right development, today it is around Money.
Here I am not trying to blame someone for this situation but trying to ignite a sense of thinking in all stake holders of present education system in India. As rightly mentioned by Alvin Toffler, well-known futurist in 1970 in his book Future Shock “Modern man must ready for shock from rapid changes tomorrow”.
The need of the hour is to situate the things right, right policies from the policy makers, right administration from administrators, right parenting from parents, right inspiration from teachers, right aspirations from students, right demand from industry, all these combine make skill less chickens into skilled individuals in India. If all these things unify rightly every school in India can produce skilled individuals in the place of skill less chickens. The only way to realize our country’s vision “MAKE IN INDIA”.
Somebody has to bell the cat….why not we!
OUR LIFE DOES NOT CHANGE WHEN GOVT, SOCIETY OR SOME THING CHANGES…OUR LIFE CHANGES WHEN WE CHANGE.
LETS START CHANGE TOWARDS SKILLED INDIA...
